Tour Highlights

• Aso Volcano Crater (30 min) – Stand at the rim of the active Nakadake crater and witness roaring white fumes rising from the earth. Note: Access is weather/activity‑dependent; alternative arrangements will be made if the crater is closed.
• Optional Experiences at Aso – Visit the Aso Volcano Museum (¥1,100) or take a 3–7 min helicopter flight over the crater (¥6,000–12,000, subject to availability).
• Kusasenri Plain (60 min, lunch on your own) – A vast grassland with grazing horses and a pond reflecting the sky. Enjoy a leisurely walk or try horse riding (¥1,500–5,000 for 5–25 min, March–December, weather permitting).
• Takachiho Gorge (60 min) – Marvel at 80m‑high columnar cliffs carved by the Gokase River. See the famous Manai Waterfall – boat rentals available at approx. ¥5,100 per boat (max 3 adults, 30 min). No boat experience included in the tour price.
